Wednesday Book Studies at Wesley

We have fantastic study opportunities for all ages!

An essential part of the Christian life is growing in faith. Wesley UMC offers a variety of small groups, Bible studies, and Sunday School classes to help you learn and grow in mind and spirit. Check out the Christian Education opportunities below, and grow with us!

Wesley has several book and Bible studies every Wednesday and throughout the week. All ages are welcome, and you don't need to be a member to join us online or in person. Click here to view a list of our current studies along with times, durations, and contact information!

Disciple I: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

This study gives the Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God. More here

All Who Are Weary

Sr. High has begun reading "All Who Are Weary: Easing the Burden On The Walk With Mental Illness." by Emmy Kegler. All 9-12th graders are invited to join Kelsey, Ben, Lindsey, and Stephanie Peterson as we discover how to navigate mental health in 2023, talking about real-world issues and how God comforts us amid our trials. More here

Holy Superheroes

Jr. High is currently reading "Holy Superheroes: Exploring the Sacred in Comics, Graphic Novels, and Film" by Greg Garrett. Anyone in 6th-8th grade is invited to join Steph Hoy and Liz Tomera on Wednesday nights as they discover what superheroes have in common with a Divine Calling. More here

Favorite Books of the Bible: Series study

There are sixty-six books that make up the Christian Bible. Each is a unique perspective and recollection of passed-down stories and personally experienced events.

We celebrate our favorite books of the Bible with a new study leader for each book. Please let Kathi Pritts know if you would like zoom!
